  • URGENT INFORMATION - REGARDING CLOSURE OF 5/6

    I have been notified that a pupil in the Year5/Year6 Bubble has tested positive for Covid-19. The child in question last attended school on Tuesday 10th November.   I have spoken to a representative from Public Health England who advised that only children and adults who have had direct contact with the child need to take action. As a result, we will taking the following steps:   All pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 must self-isolate for a period of 14 days.     Wednesday 4th November 2020 Covid Update Dear Parents In light of the 2nd lockdown starting tomorrow we have been reviewing processes in and around school to ensure we continue to keep each other safe.   • Survey - Access to Technology at Home

    Pupils having tests Since returning to school for the new academic year our priority is keeping all of us safe. Therefore, if your child is displaying any of the symptoms (cough, temperature and loss of smell/ taste) we are asking you to keep them at home and book a test. We have had a little resistance with this and it may be thought of as over the top but my priority is to keep us all safe and to do my up most to keep all bubbles open.   • Alert: TikTok concern

    Alert: TikTok Concern   There is a very graphic video being viewed on TikTok involving a suicide which is described as being brutal.   It is very concerning that children and young people may be viewing this material and this could be very distressing. Children who have seen this video may need to be offered some support.   TikTok age advisory from NSPCC rates this platform as 13+.   Sandwell police have been made aware of the video.
