  • Staff Testing

    Monday 1st February 2021 Dear parents/ carers   You may be aware that, from the 25th January, all school staff have been asked by the Department for Education (DfE), to take a lateral flow test (LFT) twice weekly, in order to monitor cases of Covid 19 in schools, and to support us to stay open and our communities to stay safe. This may have implications for your family in coming weeks.  Up to one in three people who have the virus have it without symptoms (they are asymptomatic) so could be spreading the disease unknowingly. The tests will be carried out twice weekly so that any member of staff who may be carrying…

  • School Closed - Monday 25th January 2021

    Dear Parents Due to snow that has fallen so far and the snow that is yet to come this evening, as well as the overnight freezing conditions we have taken the decision (as have other local schools to us) to close the school tomorrow for Critical worker/ vulnerable pupils. Learning will be via Teams for all pupils at home. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but the safety of staff, pupils and parents have been paramount in this decision.

  • Urgent information regarding years 5/6

    Tuesday 22nd December Dear Parents and Carers Positive Covid-19 test within the Year 5/ Year 6 bubble I have been notified that a child in the Year 5/Year 6 Bubblehas tested positive for Covid-19. I have spoken to a representative from Public Health England and I am so sorry to inform you that any child in Year 5 or Year 6, who was in school on Friday December 18th will need to start isolating with immediate effect.
