Year 6

Congratulations to all of year 6 for completing your SATS testing this week. You all have worked so hard this year and now it’s time to enjoy the rest of your time at Annie Lennard. We are all very proud of you, it’s been a hard year as you’ve had to catch up and complete the curriculum, so well done all. Also, can we also say a massive thankyou to Mrs Williams, Mrs Hill and Mr Nelson for all their hard work this year.

Year 5 Parents

Earlier in the week I was contacted by The Grammar Schools in Birmingham with the following message. We write to advise that registration is now open for parents of current Year 5 pupils who would like their child to sit the entrance test for The Grammar Schools in Birmingham, for entry to Year 7 in September 2023. Registration can be made online by visiting the website below.

The closing date for registering is 4pm on 30th June 2022.

The test will take place on 17th September 2022.

    Attendance

Well done Year 6 you have won this week.

Queens Jubilee Celebrations in school.

On Friday 27th May 2022 we will be celebrating the jubilee in school. We have lots of things planned in school from learning1950’s dances, the National Anthem, art activities and a whole school street party in the playground. There is a chance we may also have a visit from one of the QueensLieutenants too on this day.

For the street party we are asking children to bring their own snack (crisps, chocolate, small cake) with them. This is mainly due to the increase in food allergies etc we have in school.

Donations

If you would like to donate any decorations for this event they will be greatly received. (red, white or blue balloons, bunting, flags etc…) Thank you in advance.
