    Key Stage 1 Easter Assembly On Thursday 7th April, years 1 and 2 performed a fabulous Easter assembly for their parents and carers.  Showcasing their homemade Easter bonnets, the children paraded through the hall and treated us all to Easter themed songs and poems.  The children did so well with their lines and learning the words to the songs.  Each child then presented their grown up with a daffodil at the end of assembly.  A real treat for all!     Friday 1st April 2022   Early Years Easter Performance On Wednesday 30th March, Nursery and Reception treated their parents and carers to a wonderful Easter assembly!  Children had created Easter bonnets at home and in school which they paraded in the assembly.  They also sang a range of songs and showed their work on growing beans and the life cycle of a caterpillar.  The children were super confident and it was lovely to see all that has been going on in Early Years recently.  The assembly was a real delight for us all!     READING VOLUNTEERS WANTED   Do you…

    Friday 25th March 2022     On Wednesday 23rd March, we had another fabulous morning at our Reception Literacy workshop and Stay & Play! Mrs Brookes and Mrs Day, our Reception teachers, delivered a very informative workshop to parents on how we deliver Literacy in Reception at Annie Lennard and how children can be supported at home.  Parents were then given the opportunity to play alongside their child in the Reception environment, both indoors and outdoors, experiencing first-hand the sort of activities children engage in on a daily basis to support Literacy skills.  Staff were on hand to answer any questions…

  • Edgmond Hall Meeting

    18th Mar 2022

    Year 2, 3 and 4 will be going on a 2 night residential trip to Edgmond Hall between the 23rd and 25th May 2022. We still have places available for this trip. If you are interested in a place for your child you can sign up for a place on parent pay and see the office or Miss Kealey for the relevant information you need.     Friday 11th March 2022 We had a super turn out for our Maths parent workshop and stay and play session on Wednesday 9th March. We were thoroughly delighted to open our doors once more, now Covid restrictions have been relaxed, and invite parents back in to school.
