Dear Parents

Well we did it, we have made it through our first week of live lessons. I cannot thank you all enough for your patience and support throughout. I know there has been some technical issues both at home and in school but on the whole, I think it has been a successful week. I have been thrilled by the number of children that have been online for each lesson and each day more and more of you are remembering to hand in your work so the teachers can mark it and give feedback. Hopefully everybody is feeling more confident in using Microsoft Teams.

If your child hasn’t been online this week, for whatever reason and you need support in accessing Teams, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help to get you online.

On the school website you will find a guide on how to use Teams, this can be found along with other information by following this link http://www.annielennardprimary.co.uk/Class-information/Remote-Learning-Offer-Information

From Next week, Monday 25th January all work will be on Teams, we will no longer be uploading it to the school website. If you cannot access the live lesson please do not worry each lesson is recorded and then uploaded into the assignment as a resource so children won’t miss any learning.

The above figures are very promising for our first week of live learning, however figures for work being submitted is considerably lower than those attending the lessons. Work must be completed and it is essential you check that children are handing the work in. If they are struggling with how to do this there is a step by step section in the guide I referred to earlier in this lesson.

Thanks again for all your support, we have had some really positive feedback about the changes we have made to our remote learning provision.

Have a good weekend, please keep safe and well.

Mrs N Crozier
